As the cars returned to Parc Ferme at the finish of the opening day in the 2010 Safety Direct Galway International Rally, Craig Breen holds second place overall in the rally and is leader in the Group N Class. The young driver debuting the "Kick Energy" Fiesta Super 2000 on Irish soil had a smile on his face as he exited the car at the final time control of the day.

M-Sport's new Ford Fiesta S2000 will make its first appearance in the FIA World Rally Championship at Rally Sweden next weekend.
The latest rally car developed by M-Sport, in conjunction with Ford, made a hugely successful competitive debut when it recently took wins in other championships at Monte Carlo and Qatar in the hands of Ford's WRC driver Mikko Hirvonen and former Middle East Rally Champion Nasser Al-Attiyah respectively.

29th January 2010 Tipperary, A new chapter was written in the Rallying career of Craig Breen as he and his home Motor Club were honoured by a Mayoral Reception hosted by Councilor Silvia Cooney Sheehan in the Town Hall, Carrick on Suir and was attended by a wide number of invited guests, Motorsport fans, Sponsors and officials.

Twenty-four hours after the official launch his Fiesta S2000 Craig and the team were in Charleville, Co. Cork for the Petro System National Forestry Championship Test day. This was Craig's first opportunity to drive the Fiesta S2000 in anger on a stage. Over the course of the day Craig and Gareth took the new car over the 7km stage on seven occasions and as the day drew to a finish both Craig and the team were very satisfied with the days work.

M-Sport, the Cumbrian based team behind the development of the Ford Fiesta S2000 rally car, were today celebrating a dream debut which saw the car take international victories on two continents within 24 hours to cement a unique international debut for the recently launched vehicle.
Victory for Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen on the historic Monte Carlo Rally was supported by victory on the Q-Tel Qatar Rally by Nasser Al Attiyah and his Italian co-driver Giovanni Bernacchini in an Autotek supported version of the newly released car.

DOHA (Qatar): Qatar's Nasser Al-Attiyah and Italian co-driver Giovanni Bernacchini overcame a potentially costly puncture on the ninth special stage to clinch an eighth successive victory in the Qtel Qatar International Rally and take the early season initiative in the FIA Middle East Rally Championship.
Al-Attiyah pedalled the new Ford Fiesta S2000 to an impressive debut victory over 14 demanding gravel stages in the Qatar desert, but the crew were pressed all the way by the UAE's Sheikh Khalid Al-Qassimi and Ulster co-driver Michael Orr in a similar car.
